The heat in the cavern is stifling, oppressive.

It feels like a gateway to hell; a deep gash in the earth, which leaves men and machine baked and charred.

It is called the Abyss.

Dr. Morgan is convinced there is something down there.

His expedition journeys deep into the cavern. His hired help had given up in fear, so he marshals on all alone.

And finds what he expected to find.

Where ancient stories had hinted, he finds a peaceful glade with twinkling lights: the home of the faeries.

As the cave seals behind him, the faeries find him too.
